Baked Ham Recipe
and Bean Soup!

This chipotle glazed baked ham recipe is great for a sunday dinner at home with the family or as a compliment to any Thanksgiving recipe.

Served as a meal with your favorite sides such as corn, potatoes and beans, ham is a great change from the norm. And with Chef Jay's added twist, the chipotle glaze, you get an added smokey kick you don't normally get from a baked ham recipe.

But, even better than this baked ham recipe is what you can do with the leftover ham. Well, if there is any!

I'll show you a great baked ham recipe soup with beans that just makes the house smell fabulous. As the aroma from this soup fills the kitchen and makes it's way around the house, you'll have to beat the family away with a wooden spoon. I like to let it simmer for a few hours, to let the flavors combine, but if you can't wait, that is OK too. I understand;)

A wonderful traditional addition to bean soup is cornbread. I love to make a jalapeņo
recipe for cornbread while waiting for the soup. The combination is great for a chilly winter afternoon. And of course the cornbread recipe goes great with any baked ham recipe, or with your holiday meals.
