The Heat!, Issue #32 - A Chef Is Born! October 27, 2007 |
| Hello! It is great to be back in your inbox. I would like to thank those of you who contacted me lately to ask where I've been.
It has been awhile since my last newsletter but there is a good reason why I've been away. Actually it is a better than good reason.
On August 30th, Lisa and I became the proud parents of a baby boy, Ryan Brooks! Ryan weighed 6 pounds and 11 ounces and was 20 inches long and he and Lisa are in fine health.
I know you will all be as excited for us as we have been. The answer to your first question is "NO". I have not been allowed to feed him any peppers...yet. But that day will come.
I look forward to all of you sharing your spicy baby recipes with us, so please send them to me. That leads to the answer to your second question. "Yes", after a prolonged hiatus "The Heat!" will now resume production on a regular schedule.
I look forward to our renewed relationship. Let me know what you would like to see in upcoming issues of the newsletter. Please send me your favorite recipes to share with the list, especially if you have any ideas for the baby.
